Dinosaur Sketch … Mr. T-rex

Sketchbook doodle, drawn and inked.

1980's A-Team fan favorite Mr. T meets the tyrannosaurus in this silly dinosaur sketch. Nostalgia got the best of me one afternoon and out it spilt. Remember a time when Roadhouse was a great movie, there were no handheld electronic devices, television was utterly hilarious and kids could wander our neighborhoods freely like a pack of feral dogs? Sigh...

The largest and most complete T. rex skeleton ever found was nicknamed Sue, after its discoverer, paleontologist Sue Hendrickson. Measurements of Sue suggest T. rex was one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs to ever live, coming in at up to 13 feet tall at the hips (the beast's highest point since it did not stand erect) and 40 feet long. A recent analysis of Sue shows T. rex weighed as much as 9 tons.
